Problem
You open the planning in Bas Software, but you don't see any appointments or jobs. Your calendar appears empty, even though you know there should definitely be jobs scheduled.
Conditions
This article helps you if:
You're logged in to Bas Software
You've gone to Planning > Planning
You expect to see appointments, but the screen is empty or doesn't show all expected jobs
Solution: Check your filters
The most common cause is that your filters have been changed by accident. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the filter screen
Click the Filter button at the top right (next to Show availability)
A screen opens with blue buttons for different appointment types
Step 2: Check the date
Look at the date/week view at the top (for example "Monday 1 December – Week 49")
Make sure you've selected the right date
Use the arrows < > to navigate to the right day or week
Step 3: Check the employee filter
Look at the Employee dropdown menu at the top of the filter screen
If there's a name here, you'll only see appointments for that specific employee
Click the dropdown menu and select no specific employee to see all appointments
Step 4: Check the appointment type filters
Scroll down in the filter screen
Do you see the blue buttons such as "Materials inspection", "Move", "Packing", etc.?
Check whether they are all blue (selected)
If one or more buttons are grey, those appointment types are not shown
Click Deselect all at the top to show all appointments again
Step 5: Close the filter screen
Click the Filter button at the top right again
The filter screen closes and your planning is visible again
Result: If your filters are set correctly, you'll now see your appointments in the planning.
Other possible causes
Try these solutions if the steps above don't help:
The page isn't loading properly
Try refreshing the page: press Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac)
On mobile: close the app completely and open it again
Try logging out and logging in again
You haven't created any appointments yet
Check whether appointments are actually scheduled for the selected date
Go to Case files to see whether there are jobs that don't have an appointment linked yet
Display settings
Check whether you're in the right view (calendar or day planning)
Click Show availability to switch between views
Rights and access
Check whether you have the right permissions to view appointments
Contact your administrator if you suspect it's a permissions issue
Frequently asked questions
Why have my filters changed?
Filters remain active until you change them manually. If you accidentally click an appointment type button or select an employee, that setting stays in place – even if you log out and log back in.
How do I prevent filters from changing by accident?
When working in the planning, take care not to accidentally click the blue appointment type buttons when the filter screen is open. Always close the filter screen by clicking Filter when you're done.
I can see some appointments, but not all of them – is that also caused by filters?
Yes, in that case you've often filtered out one or more appointment types. Open the filter screen and click Deselect all to see all job types again.
Can I set default filters?
No, filters are not saved as defaults. You have to set them again each time you want to filter specifically. If you don't want any filters, make sure everything is selected and no specific employee is chosen.
Tips
💡 Always check your filters first if your planning appears empty – this is the cause in 9 out of 10 cases.
💡 Note where the Filter button is (at the top right next to "Show availability") so you can quickly check whether filters are active.
⚠️ Please note: If you click "Deselect all" in the filter screen, all appointments are temporarily hidden. Click the button again (which is then called "Select all") to show them again.
