Boxes

Stock management

In Bas, you can keep track of the stock of boxes you use on jobs. Depending on how careful the removal crew are, you can even see exactly which customers still have boxes left with them or whether they are in storage.

Managing boxes

Go to WMS and then to Boxes. Here you'll find an overview of all box types, how much stock there is of each box type, how many are out with customers, how many are used in storage, and what the status is.

Adding a new box type

First add a supplier so you can manage the stock of the new box type.

Placing a box order

In Bas, you can record whether boxes are on order. Please note: this is purely for record-keeping in Bas, you do not place an order with the supplier here! However, you can report the order as received in Bas, so the stock is up to date again.

Reporting an order as received

Once you've saved the supplier, you can report the stock as received. For a new box type, that's immediately the first stock.

Registering boxes as disposed of, sold, hired out and returned

You can make changes to your box stock because you've had to dispose of boxes (because they were worn out), because you sell boxes, hire out boxes, or receive returns at some point. You can easily do this via WMS > boxes and then the options under the 'more actions' button.

Viewing box usage and status

To have a complete overview of stock and outstanding boxes, you need to include them in the flow of your job.

Registering box delivery and collection with the app

Boxes: screenshot 8

During the survey, you enter the number of boxes needed. While carrying out the job, the staff member sees in the app the number of boxes that need to be delivered. If the staff member indicates in the app that the boxes have been delivered, and, at the appointment to collect them, that they have also been collected again, the number in the overview will be correct.

The boxes you use on jobs are also registered there. You can find the changes under materials > boxes

Overview in the WMS

In the overview in the WMS, you'll see the boxes still outstanding with customers. Once boxes have been delivered and collected again, they disappear from this overview.
