We've made the process of getting started as easy as possible by already adding the most common expense claim categories. If you'd like to add and manage your own categories, though, you can do that too.
To manage the expense claim categories, go to 'Settings' in the main menu and click 'Expense Claim Categories'.
Adding an expense claim category
To add your own expense claim category, click 'New category' and add a name, set the weighting (this determines the order of the category in the list), add an icon and enter any translations. Then click 'New category' and your added category is ready for use.

Disabling an expense claim category
There may be times when you no longer want to use a particular expense claim category. In that case, you can disable the category.
What happens when you disable a category?
Disabling a category means it's no longer visible to your employees and is no longer available when creating or editing an expense claim.
And how exactly do you do this?
You do this by clicking the category you want to disable and then pressing the 'Disable' button. You'll be asked to enter a date from which the category should be disabled.
