Product update March 2026

New time tracking, CLA allowances and reimbursements, Peppol e-invoicing and more.

A lot has happened in Bas over the past few months. We've launched two major new features and made a series of smaller improvements. In this update, we'll take you through them.

The new time tracking

Bas has a completely new time tracking system. Employees now record their hours directly in Bas. Based on the planning, the system makes an AI suggestion for the hours worked, which employees can confirm or adjust.

In the back office, you get an overview of all recorded hours per day. You can approve or reject hours, adjust time blocks by dragging them, and see at a glance where hours are missing. The system automatically calculates breaks according to the configured rules and flags overlapping time blocks.

CLA allowances and reimbursements

New in Bas: full CLA support. The standard CLA is ready for you straight away, but you can always deviate from it and set your own rules. This way, you decide the allowance rules for overtime, night work, weekend work and public holidays.

For each rule, you define which percentage applies, which employees the allowance applies to (for example based on contract, role or attribute) and from which date the rule becomes active.

Bas then automatically calculates the correct allowances based on the recorded hours. You can also easily set subsistence reimbursements per employee. Everything is calculated automatically and ready for your payroll straight away.
